a letter 2 Jesus

If you were to write a letter 2 Jesus today... what would u write?

..why don't u go ahead and write Him a letter and maybe tell Him what is on your mind? Ask Him all the questions you've always wanted to ...but never did?
You may ask Him anything... 'even why He allowed your beloved child to die, or why He did nothing to stop your abuse Father ... or why He didn't stop your husband from leaving..., why is He not answering your prayers, especially now that you need Him the most?

Ask Him, He will answer you.

Unprayed prayers

Ever since my husband committed his life to Jesus so many years ago, there has always been a - very well hidden - deep rooted fear that he will fall back on his old paths. Women, booze, parties...
A fear I kept secret from even those closest to me. Afraid it would be perceived as unbelief...  ‘ I am after all a women of faith, with courage and strength ‘
I needed my husband to have something that would hold him to his faith (as if Jesus isn’t enough) I needed him to have something that would make him stay on the small path. Silly Me.
So I did what most concerning (badgering) wife would do… I have made several suggestions that he should start a supporting group for men. Eventually I gave up nagging him and start trusting my Father.
Today, about 5 years later, I am very happy (and relieved – hahaha) that my husband did obey God’s voice to initiate a supporting group – it’s been almost 2 years since they’ve started ~ and during our church service yesterday this group of courageous men has been introduced to the congregation as an official cell group of our church!. I could not have been more proud, more happy, more satisfied ...
This is a group of men that I would like to salute. They are not too proud to acknowledge defeat and that they need each other’s arms to hold them steady during difficult times. This is a group of men that really wants to serve God, yes they make wrong and hurtful decisions, but they are committed to complete the race…'
What a mighty God we serve! All the glory and all the honour to my God!

We have all we need... look deeper

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.  Through these He has given us His exceeding great (sufficient, adequate, plenty, wealth, richness=fruitfulness, productivity, strength, power) and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
2 Peter 1:3-5

The truth (revelation) of this simple verse should change your entire life!

God has already given us everything we need for both our natural and spiritual life.

His divine power looked through the ages and saw everything we would need for life (natural life) and godliness (spiritual life) and made it ahead of time. When you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, a storehouse was opened with all you would ever need.

Our faith does not move God to supply; He has already supplied. Our study, prayer, faith and trust in God move us into a better position to receive what God has already given. God is never the problem; we are!

When the thief who was crucified beside Jesus received salvation, Jesus told him they would be together in Paradise that very day. Adam and Eve were removed from Paradise, but through Jesus, we are brought back into the garden. The same angels that kept Adam and Eve out of the garden have welcomed us back. God placed Adam and Eve in Eden after He finished the Garden. Everything was created then the man and woman were placed in the midst of God’s creation. God did not create a tree when the couple had a need. The trees were already made for every need they could have.

God has done the same for us with our Paradise, the Garden of the New Birth. We were placed into this new life after God created everything we would ever need. We just need to wander through and find out what God has provided. Every tree is good. Because Adam and Eve sinned, they could not eat of the Tree of Life. Because we are born again, we are invited to eat of it. The Tree of Life is the Word of God (Proverbs 3:18). Everything that pertains to life and godliness is made available to us through His Word, “through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue,” through the “exceeding great and precious promises……

This should change your prayer and faith life. You do not need to beg God who has already created and given all things. You can rest assured that God’s love is so great you cannot possibly have a need that He has overlooked.

a Make-over

Heavenly Father

I have been so busy and occupied with 'things' in my life, that I became too tired and full of excuses to spend the time I want to, with you. I admit that other 'things' took priority over You and for that I humble myself before You, and deeply apologize for my behavior. Heavenly Father, You are so Holy in all Your ways and I deeply desire to be just as holy in all my ways.

And for that, I ask that You:
give me a make-over.. ad do-over
I need a renewed outlook on my life.
I need to recap on my plans and dreams for the future.
I need a fresh touch from You Jesus
Renew my strength
Resuscitate my heart
Rejuvenate my energy
Restore my hope
Restart my life
Recondition my belief
Repair my broken dreams
Reinforce my faith
Revive my spirit
Replace my divided heart… with an undivided one

I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God. But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD.  ~ Ezekiel 11:19-21

Teach me Your way, O LORD, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name. ~ Psalm 86:11

They will be My people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and the good of their children after them. ~ Jeremiah 32:38-39

I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with all their heart. ~ Jeremiah 24:7

In Jesus Name I pray
Amen
