when temptation came my way
i didn't look away
my need was so intense
is this my only defense?
my sin runs deep
will Your grace be more?
is this yet another thing that i will reap?
who is it that i really adore?
will Your mercy endure
the sins of my betraying flesh?
will this also pass?
help me out of this mess!
where grace is found, are You there?
and where You are Lord, am I really free?
or have i forfeited Your trust -
oh Lord, how can this be?
help me to rise to You

and when i cannot stand
help me to fall on You.
